Can't Afford it:: Cost this year was approx. $10.00 a day for room and board, Plus, of course, your spending money,( because we don't work every second) and travel expenses. Sometimes its just not possible to go. But you would like to do something. Check out the"how can you participate site"

Nervous about Culture? We give a pre-trip orientation meeting to teach about the culture ,and what our plans are for that particular work week. We have usually stayed on the mission stateside, and we have interpreters with us when we go across the border.

Don't like the food?? Well, you can be brave and try something new, but most of our food is very American--the mission prepares it for us, and asks us what we would like,.and then of course ,we do adventure out to eat dinner

Don't have the time? We plan our work weeks to cover a week, with some people staying for 10 days. This way people can plan ahead and get good prices on flights, and schedule vacations. There is flexibility.

Transportation a problem? We can be of help in a number of ways : searching the web for best prices for flights. Put you in contact with others who are going for car pooling. Provide maps, mileage and approximate cost of driving . We also coordinate transportaion arrival and departures to and from the mission. The mission provides a van for work use and outings when we arrive. Plus some of us drive our own cars-so we are somewhat mobile if we need to run for extra parts or supplies.

Feel you don't have a skill? All you need is a willingness to serve. God will give you the skills you need and use you in a unique way, God has a good plan for you.
